About:
SA SA SA
Founded in 1911, SA SA SA’s origins came from its founder, who sought to use the pure waters of the nearby Izumi river to process fabrics, known as the “Izumi wasarashi.” From 200 local producers to less than 10 today, the SA SA SA roll preserves century-old traditional techniques while emphasizing more eco-friendly products from start to finish. With fewer chemicals, less water, and less energy, the cloth produced here has received high praise for its minimal chemical impact, making it safe and gentle for babies and those with sensitive skin.
Awarded the Yellow Ribbon Medal of Honor, due to their diligence and perseverance, SA SA SA’s CEO, Kiyotaka Takeda, is considered a public role model in Japan.
